The Office of the Dean invites proposals from departments and programs in the College for mini-grants for the Fall 09 term.
Course Enhancements
Proposals of up to $750 for enhancements to specific departmental or interdepartmental courses to be taught in Fall 09. Examples of such enhancements include inviting visitors to campus to meet with your class, excursions with students, or purchases of special materials such as films, CDs, or videos. Each department or program may submit up to three such proposals, ranked in priority order. Please budget modestly; the smaller each individual request, the more requests we can grant. Use the attached proposal form and accompany the forms with a brief cover letter from the head endorsing and prioritizing the proposals.
The deadline for submission of Fall Term mini-grant proposals is September 25, 2009. An early submission and response will permit you to budget and plan for any visitors, trips, or materials in sufficient advance of the start of the fall term.
