Grants and Fellowships

Marshall Fellowship

Marshall Scholarships provide an opportunity for American students who have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership potential to continue their studies for two or three years at a British university. Applicants may pursue any field of study offered at a degree-awarding UK institution.

A Marshall Scholarship includes payment of all tuition and other fees, including an allowance to cover living expenses, fare to and from the United Kingdom, an annual grant for approved travel in connection with studies, an annual book grant, and a thesis allowance, if required.

Candidates should demonstrate maturity, a global perspective of issues and problems, a sense of self-reliance and self-discipline, and intellectual distinction (with a GPA exceeding 3.70 in the sophomore and junior years) with an interest in taking on leadership roles during and after one’s period of educational training.

Candidates must be citizens of the United States and seniors at accredited four year colleges and universities.
