Grants and FellowshipsUdall FellowshipsThe Morris K. Udall Foundation annually awards approximately 75 scholarships of $5000 to sophomores and juniors who study the environment and related fields, as well as those who are native Americans or Alaska Natives studying issues related to health care and tribal policy. W&L may nominate up to six underclassmen for a Udall Fellowship each year. Candidates should demonstrate academic interests in ethics, public policy, and/or community service in a career field. Consideration is given to the nominee’s field of study, career objectives, and the extent to which the candidate has the commitment and potential needed to make a significant contribution to his or her area. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 and be a U. S. citizen, resident alien, or national from American Samoa or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
